Dr. Sujit Varma

“Over the 10 years+ since I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I have worked with countless Doctors and Therapists without much success. But Dr. Varma has given me my life back. He is very polite and enjoyable to work with. He has a calming demeanor and is not pretentious even though it is obvious he is very intelligent. He does a great job of listening and makes me feel very comfortable. He is willing to think outside of the box for people like me who have had a history of mediocre success with the normal range of standard treatments and medications. I wish I would have met him 10 years ago.”

“I have been seeing Dr. Varma for over 2 years now. He is absolutely one of the "best" psychiatrist I have ever been to! He is very caring, compassionate, extremely attentive and very intelligent! His staff is also Wonderful! His whole office has great customer service and stays on top of all your needs! Although there are closer psychiatrists to my home I definitely don't mind driving farther to get such excellent care! I definitely recommend this psychiatrist!!!”

“The “owner” is now falsely claiming that I left this review in error: wonderful! Dr. Varma first prescribed a reduced dose of my long-time prescription by 2/3, then suddenly stopped prescribing it altogether. This medication was life-saving and my life depended on it. It also typically, according to the pharmacist who filled it, requires a ramp-down time of many months, not the 2-3 days that I actually got from Dr. Varma and his staff. They put my life in jeopardy by doing this and I have still not recovered—many months later. Avoid this doctor and his clinic(s) at all costs! They apparently even lie about negative reviews written about them!!!”

“Not only did he charge me copays that i didn't have he put ne on 9mg of xanax a day for 7 plus years which caused pre dementia and after he told me I had that he canceled my care and would not even talk to me or my wife about my situation and what I should focus on going forward with my next Dr after 7 years because he said i missed a zoom appointment thst I never booked and thrn for a year we fought with the unprofessional nasty clinic manager to talk to him get a referral for somewhere else or my records where he stated I seemed fine and was not having anxiety but then why was I on 9 mg of xanax a day for so nany yesrs? Thats clearly why he wouldnt give me the records for so long claiming they were lost or system was down which I have the emails showing her saying that and refusing to give me a final visit or conversation. He told me the xanax caused the predementia but didn't mention it till was to late. I left my keys in his office the last time I saw him so went back in and opened the door and interupted him and the clinic manager kissing which they seemed very uncomfortable from which I could of cared less what 2 adults were doing. Then he saw me once or twice by zoom appointment which I didn't like. I'd hsve say a 2 0'clock appointment and he called at like 9 AM and asked if I had a couple minutes to do the appointment now over tne phone instead. I had no choice reslly so I did but the 2 of them manipulated the situation and accused me of missing an appointment that was the one we did over the phone in the morning instead or she scheduled one I was never aware of to get rid of me because they were uncomfortable I walked in on them acting I suppose inappropriately at the place of work where he treated his patients. The door wasn't latched so I knocked as I walked in and I wish it would of been closed pr o should of waited for them to separate and would of if I knew they were going to be making out literally s few minutes after my scheduled appointment that I forgot my keys at. I am after him abandoning me and messing up my treatment causing me a seizure from benzodiazepine withdrawals and suffering permanent damage and causing significant damage to me and in turn to my family who are the real victims! The first time I saw him I was on 6 mg of xanax 3mg 3 times a day he said without me even asking for more that he could give me 3mg 3 times a day but that was the max allowed in MN but he could give me other benzos with them which he did that being Klonopin. I think he didn't want to deal with the pre dementia he caused so when I wslked in on them that wss enough so they manipulated s situation and left me high and dry with Anxiety depression and addiction that him dropping me cold turkey caused a siezure. I look forward to discussing this with the malpractice board where I will point out the meds he prescribed didn't match the remarks he wrote about from my appointments. Be careful because he acted without care for my health or the effects it had on my family when he dropped me without a final or last appointment or a conversation and then couldn't get my records for the longest time which I imagine he was trying to cover things up about the predementia anxiety depression or siezure it ended up causing. I have all the records showing the meds he gave me then said I showed no signs of anxiety or something which was so fat from the truth!”
