“This place has been amazing for me in my recovery journey. The outpatient facilitator, Ashley Tague, is amazingly down to earth and easy to relate too. Groups are flexible with option to zoom in from home, and amicable to allowing me to help direct my own step down from programming as I transition into my current way and choices of living without the use of substances. I’m really excited for the potential new Wednesday group that is in the mix and hope that is something that becomes a reality for people such as myself that can utilize it as a resource for my own personal “long haul” plan.”

“I decided to rate LBH in Hibbing 4 stars because the behavioral team I've worked with have all been wonderful. I love them to bits, they really care about my wellbeing, and they're skilled in their vocations. But I decided to leave a review about why I took a star off. The office has a new receptionist. She has been aloof and curt with me thus far. She doesn't smile or greet me, and just sort of blankly looks at me when I speak to her. Normally I don't begrudge these sort of things, you never know what's going on in someone's life. However, I feel that in this setting, a receptionist is not just part of the team but the face of a business, as they're the first person you connect with. That's particularly important regarding mental health services in that they will set the tone for the care a patient will receive there. With her, I immediately feel ill at ease and unwelcome in the office. Today I brought up how I wasn't sent my usual text reminder, causing me to miss an appointment. It wasn't a big deal, things happen. But when I tried to talk with her about it she just stared blankly at me and flatly told me that it is set up. She didn't try to help or see what happened. She didn't even look at me when she slid the appointment card towards me across the desk. Didn't hand it to me, make eye contact, smile, anything conveying any warmth or kindness. I felt judged. I felt like she was just "dealing" with me, dismissing me. It upset me a lot. I'm very sensitive to rejection and that hit me very hard. I'm definitely not comfortable interacting with her anymore, and the last thing I need is for my anxiety to be set off about going to a place who's purpose is to help alleviate my mental health difficulties.”
