“UPDATE: 25JUNE2026, I am able to utilize "followmyhealth" portal as intended now, thank you. Since early May I was of the belief my therapy appointments had to be in person. I learned that during a call I made in May 2026, trying to switch an appointment to virtual due to my severe health issues. I guess you get "strikes" or penalties for canceling appointments same day, 2-3 strikes will lead to you losing the ability to see your therapist. I was so stressed, because I thought I would be penalized for doing virtual appointments, and I couldnt predict my seizures/full body lock-up 24+ hours in advance to cancel my in person visits on time. The seizure activity happens when I stand or walk longer than 1-2 minutes, I can't safely drive when every muscles is locking up every 30 seconds and I spontaneously lose consciousness. I can't arrange a ride as I only live around here to work for the military, my family and friends live in Wisconsin. I also couldn't afford public transportation with zero income, fighting the very long and slow process to get my incapacitation payments from the military. On June 23rd, I didn't want a strike and the ability to see my therapist taken away. I went in while in a ton of pain and ended up having a seizure/hard fall in their parking lot. My therapist, CASSANDRA took very good care of me and helped me recover in her office. The front desk worker, CATHY, waited to speak with two patients that witnesses my fall so I could get home and rest. She got me the information needed and sent via numerous routes. Now I can provide my doctor, cardiologist, and neurologist with that information on how long these loss of consciousness episodes last, and what happens with my body during them; all thanks to CATHY and those two patients. Prior to this, I didn't know what was happening while unconscious. This was the same way I fell (in a parking lot), breaking my leg and needing surgery, about 4 weeks ago. I talked to a human on the phone today (25JUNE2026) and found out I won't be penalized for doing virtual visits. She helped me get everything scheduled virtually for future visits. Hopefully my "strikes" are reviewed and removed by a human familiar with my conditions and situation. The people helping me at Baxter south are amazing humans. The company "strike and penalty' policy and the communication for that needs review and improvement. I didn't even know I had "strikes" until speaking with my provider today. If they had a human call me to inform me of these "strikes" it all could have been resolved and prevented weeks ago. Learning I won't be penalized for doing virtual appointments is a blessing for my situation and conditions, and I could have been doing that a long time ago it seems, and never would have needed to cancel an appointment. I can do virtual appointments from my phone, so even if I'm with a CVSO working my VA disability claim, or with a military lawyer fighting for lost injury income, meeting people to sell my belongings for food and medication money, or just stuck in bed with severe pain... I can make my phone appointments work. Overall for the buisness, it's a 3.5 out of 5 stars from me. The humans on site at baxter south are a 10 out of 5 stars, amazing. Im unsure who was issuing the strikes and threatening taking away the privilege to see my therapist. I don't think my provider or therapist would do anything like that, knowing my situation and conditions. Someone familiar with your situation and health complications should make the descision and contact you/speak with you right away if giving you a "strike". It adds so much stress to an already struggled life.”
“Stephanie S has been AMAZING to work with! She has gone above and beyond to explain how certain mediations work by themselves, interact with current meds, and help make recommendations for future treatment plans. The best part is, Stephanie does all of this in collaboration with the patient themselves. Ultimately leaving the choice up to the patient, while keeping health and safety in mind. Her approach is incredible and her care is top tier. She is an asset to this organization. I can’t wait to keep working with her!”
“My psychiatrist, Stephanie, has been wonderful. She researches thoroughly about which meds I can and cannot take due to a medical condition I am battling. I appreciate so much that she finds an alternative med to take that is less harmful. I’ve only seen her twice this far but I am highly impressed and only expect that to grow.”
“Worked with an initial advocate who helped me get appointments very quickly with both Tiffany and Stephanie right away. It has been an amazing experience and for the first tim in my life I feel so comfortable and hopeful. Highly recommend”
