“I'm giving 5 stars for my husband's and my provider, Wade Bergquist. He is the most professional, insightful, personable, straightforward, and dedicated therapist that my husband and I have EVER worked with in our entire lives. I never want to imagine what our lives would be like if we hadn't started working with him. He has made the biggest positive impact on us. We have gained knowledge and learning new tools that we can use in everyday circumstances. Wade doesn't judge, put us down, take sides, or talk over either of us. He shows up to every session with 2 open ears and tons of compassion to help support and guide through life's difficult moments no matter the size.”

“Company is insanely money hungry. This office has put me in debt because of their shady business practices. I was not informed of lapses in coverage or any incurring fees, I was under the impression that insurance had still been paying for sessions. Flash forward a couple months and I’m over $5,000 deep in fees. When I expressed my concerns I was met with a lack of empathy or any form of understanding. I was told that this is my responsibility now and received no help with a payment plan. The company continuously harassed me with phone calls regarding payment even after making consistent monthly payments. They have charged my card without authorization on multiple occasions, racking up overdraft fees I did not consent to. The clinicians here are just as bad as the staff/company. On many occasions my psychiatrist would threaten to send me back to a mental hospital when I denied specific treatments such as group therapy (which I had already tried). On many occasions I would be rushed through a session well before the time was up. Clinicians consistently showed up late or just didn’t show up at all with absolutely no explanation. You will have no say over your treatment working with these cold hearted “clinicians”. Avoid this dumpster fire at all costs!”

“I came from the ellie mental health clinic in Winona and it took me months to get set up with a new provider at mendota. When I finally did get connected with someone, I was able to start seeing her. She got sick and cancelled a few of our sessions, then the next week I got a call from the clinic that our session was cancelled because my provider was sick. One week goes by and I don’t hear from my provider or the clinic. I assume I’d be getting an update, which maybe was my bad. Then, another week goes by and I reach out to my provider and ask if we will be meeting again soon. She informs me that she is on permanent leave. No one from the clinic thought to inform me that the provider it took me 3 months to get setup with wouldn’t be seeing me anymore? How does that slip their minds. So after going 3 months without mental health care, I finally start to get settled in with a new provider and only see her for 3 sessions — which is of COURSE not her fault, she was very kind — but I now am without a provider again and I received not only no communication, but no steps as to how to get setup with someone new AGAIN. It has now been 2 months and I haven’t received a single phone call or email. I had been a client here since 2021. Will never give them money again. I went to psychology.com, typed in the things I was looking for in a provider and my location, and was instantly matched with a bunch of great options. After a couple phone calls I found a new therapist and was able to meet with her within 2 WEEKS!!! Just take this as your advice to not go to a clinic like this and find an independent therapist. I don’t know if they just have not enough staff to help manage or people who just don’t care but for a business that offers mental health care, you would think they would take the wellbeing of their longtime customers more seriously.”

“I would give zero stars if able. I had my first appointment with Mary Mackiewicz the week of 6/9. She scheduled me for my second appointment on 6/19. That was a hectic day as I had back to back appointments all day. Then I had to hurry to Mendota Heights from Circle Pines in time for my noon appointment. I show up on time. I sign into the kiosk & I wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes. I thought maybe I did not check myself in correctly so I go to the kiosk and check myself in again. I wait until 12:30 & Mary never shows up. At 1:15, I received a text message with an apology that she dropped the ball. She followed up by email and said she had double booked appointments. I have no desire to see her again. I will say that in the past I have had great experience with Ellie for my own family members. I hope a supervisor reached out. I would like an opportunity to see someone besides Mary.”
