“This location is pretty good. Staff is kind for the most part. I will say some of them did make me feel dismissed or looked at me funny when I would say things. I would’ve lasted longer in the program if there was less long breaks in between scheduled group times, which I felt took away some of my experience during process time. Overall me and a few others felt as though we were being dismissed or ignored when trying to process or include themselves during others group discussions. But overall my favorite thing about this location was Barbie and Sarah. Barbie absolutely deserves the world. She was so affirming and kind when I needed it the most. I highly recommend if you are looking for someone to talk to go to Barbie. I hope to see her blossom in this career. Absolutely amazing human being. Sarah is also an amazing staff member, she was very respectful and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Also a very personable staff member. Thank you to these staff members for making a hard time less hard.”

“Not helping those for inpatient that need help that smoke pot once a day and told you they can stop cold turkey because youre worried about a relapse but you do for those who smoke cigarettes and drink once a day is absolutely unreal! What kind of a facility are you! Shame on you! No wonder why your only a 3 star facility!”

“I had a terrible experience with Prairie Care. 1. I received one bill for all the visits in March 2026 for visits dating back to July 2025. While it appears this is not illegal it’s a horrible patient experience to receive a bill 8 months after a visit. When I called to inquire about it they blamed an IT migration and didn’t apologize for what was clearly a mistake. 2. I changed insurance part way through treatment and since there was no front desk available at the time of the appointment it slipped my mind to provide it. That’s on me. However, any other provider I have seen would’ve called and asked for updated insurance instead of billing me without insurance. 3. The provider was 10-15 mins late for every visit. She would text me (which I also thought was odd) when she was running late but after it happened every single visit it got old and was unprofessional. 4. The provider failed to mention that she doesn’t have the credentials to diagnosis and even threw out diagnoses or said something was a “provisional diagnosis” without clarifying she not able to diagnose. I’m confused and frustrated by my experience because I’ve heard Prairie Care is a reputable place.”

In the meantime, I will share this - I am absolutely appalled at the pure lack of empathy Sue Buelow showed when I shared with her that two very close family members had recently passed away. She offered zero condolences, in fact, she breezed over what I said and continued talking about my medications as if I said nothing at all; I was stunned. Please, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Surely, there is someone out there who can both prescribe medication AND show empathy. Sue is clearly not that person and that is both hurtful and harmful.”
